Palmerston
Elim Church is located in the rural township of Palmerston, East Otago midway between Oamaru and Dunedin.
Palmerston has four
Churches and boasts an amazing history, much of which is centered
around the Otago gold rush days. |
| The
people are warm and friendly and should you decide to visit sometime
you would be made very welcome.
We are a family orientated church that caters for a wide range of age
groups and interests. We
take the family aspect of our church very seriously and try to
involve children and youth in all areas of church life.
During the year we have a variety of events, including such things as picnics,
bring and share meals, the ladies dinner and our outdoor community concert at Christmas
time.

We believe that churches have a
responsibility to care for the communities that they are in. |
| A large
part of our ministry is helping people who are in need, the church
should be one of the options that a family can turn to when they need
help, we provide a friendly, competent, and safe place for people who
are struggling.
We are firmly
committed to giving and through the generosity of our
members have been able to assist in many areas in our
community.
